We serve a perfect God, and sometimes we ask ourselves the timing God uses to call His servants and our loved ones home to be with Him. On January 19, 2022, Christine Vinie Bradley departed this life and now rests peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior. Christine was born on October 21, 1941, in Homestead, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late John Milton and Cloteal Beatrice Westbrooks. Christine was the seventh sibling out of ten in this union. Christine graduated from Homestead Senior High School in 1959 and worked in various jobs. Also in her spare time she took elective classes at University of Pittsburgh. She worked at U.S. Steel Building located downtown Pittsburgh. Her most recent position was a Unit Clerk at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Trauma Unit in Oakland, Pennsylvania. After retirement, Christine worked part-time at the UPMC Shadyside in the Radiology Department. Christine loved to dance and travel. You would see Christine at a fitness club five days a week. Her family and close friends call her "cool chill." She married at the age of 19 to the late Raymond Franklin Dutrieuille and had five children in this union. Christine cherishes the time she spent with her children and grandchildren and would always give her grandchildren a few dollars for their pockets. Christine then remarried on May 26, 1985, to the late David Bradley. David had three children, and he treated Christine's children like his own. David and Christine traveled the world and went on multiple cruises, and you could find them together on the dance floor getting their groove on. They had a dog named Spice Girl, and they treated that dog like a child. After a long battle with Degenerative Nervous System Disorder, Christine transitioned to eternal rest on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Jackie, Carl, and sisters Sylvia Ogden and Lois Giles. Christine cherish her memories with her husband, David Bradley (Deceased); her children Raymond Dutrieuille, III (Nina), Dairia Watkins (Jim), Darla Dutrieuille, Duane Dutrieuille, and Dina Dutrieuille; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; her brother John “Jackie”Westbrooks (Deceased), Carl Westbrooks (Deceased), Charles "Charlie" Westbrooks (Margie), Dennis Westbrooks (Claudia); her sister Sylvia Ogden (Decease) (Gerald), Joyce Westbrooks (Greg) (Decease), Cloteal Karpa (Steve), Constance “Connie” Donolo (Mark), Lois Giles (Decease) and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss Christine most dearly.
