Celebrating Life and Legacy Robnet Loving - “To know her was to love her” Robnet Loving, was born on October 5, 1931, the second of two children to the late William and Martha Watson. She passed from this earthly scene on Thursday June 4, 2026, surrounded by the love she so freely gave throughout her life. Sister Loving accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at age 11. She graduated from East McKeesport High School, and she was united in marriage in 1956 to the love of her life the late Edgar (Pete) Loving and they were blessed with nine children. A devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and friend, Robnet’s life was a shining example of how kindness, faith, and love can transform the world around us. Gifted with an anointed singing voice, she used her talent to uplift and inspire others. Her larger-than-life personality brought laughter, encouragement, and light to those around her, while her impeccable sense of fashion showcased the beauty and confidence that defined her spirit. She believed that no act of kindness was ever too small, and her warm smile and open heart became a beacon of hope to everyone she met. Her home was more than a place — it was a sanctuary of encouragement, laughter, and unconditional love. Robnet’s faith was her compass, guiding her to serve her beloved church-Clark Memorial Church with joy and humility. She inspired others not just with her words, but with her actions, throughout the years she a member of the choir, an usher, a Sunday school teacher, Sunday school devotion leader, managed the bookstore, was part of the greeting card ministry where she offered comfort to the weary, and reminding everyone that they were valued and loved. She is survived by her seven cherished children, Melita Washington (Jerome), Edgar Loving, William Loving, Jerome Loving, Mark (Karen) Loving Brenda Loving, and Lela Loving; Her loving sister Zella Cole; Special Bonus Children-Connie, Candy, Dorothy, Donna, Debbie, John, Dee (Billy), and Joe. Her beloved Niece Asenth (Nick) Bennett and Nephew Harvey (Elaine) Cole, Fred Cole her cherished grandchildren; Brendan, Edgar, Brandyn, Jason, Jerome W. (Shristi), Christopher, April (Kevin) Gruarin, Ashley, Willa, Nathan (Lauren), Mark, Brianna, Hailey, Ryleigh, Lexi, Jermacy, Jerome L. and Sean, 24 great grandchildren, Goddaughter Melanie Cross and a host of great nieces, nephews, countless friends and relatives and last but not least her Pastor James Douglas Burwell (wife Jou’AL and daughter Gabri-Elle) who she considered her family, as well as her beloved church family who will carry her light forward. She loved everyone. She is preceded in death by her husband Edgar (Pete) Loving, daughter Romania Loving, son, Gregory Loving, parents Martha & William Watson, Nieces-Vanessa Tedesco, Salene Jones and her faithful dog Sammi. Robnet’s story is a reminder that a life lived with faith and kindness leaves a legacy that never fades. Her example challenges us all to love more deeply, give more freely, and live each day with purpose.
