Gwendolyn Lenora Terry was born on December 6, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - the fourth child of Moses E. and Jeanette A. Yarbrough. She was called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on September 18, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. *Gwenny was raised in Southview, Pennsylvania, and attended Fort Cherry High School. She worked several jobs while here in Pittsburgh, the longest of which was with the United States Postal Service. *Gwenny married the love of her life, Thomas Terry, and this union produced four children. She devoted her life to the Lord. Her spiritual advisor was her best friend since childhood and sister-in-law, Donna Meigs. She loved having Bible study every day. Gwenny was also an avid Bingo player, and enjoyed taking anyone along with her. *Gwenny was preceded in death by her parents, Moses E. and Jeanette A. Yarbrough; her brothers Moses (Rebecca), Louis, William, and Raymond; her sisters Jeanette (Sister) Yarbrough, and Mary (Mimi) Taylor. *She leaves to cherish her memory her four children, Thomas G. Terry, Jr. (Gloria), Josephine A. Locke (Norman), Gwendolyn L. Blair, and Timothy D. Terry (Tracy); her grandchildren, Jamar, Norman, Jeanette, Timothy Jr., Jamel, Thomas, Kendra, Vanessa, Terrel, Trevon, and Timya Terry; seven great-grandchildren; siblings Robert Yarbrough, Eva Yarbrough, and Harriet Dailey; six sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
