Rufus "Poo" Morgan, Jr. 53, affectionately known as Poo, made his transition on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Rufus was born March 18, 1966, in Los Angeles, California to Wilma Howell and Rufus Morgan, Sr. He moved to McKeesport, Pennsylvania with his family in 1971, and attended McKeesport Senior High School. Rufus "Poo" had a way of making you laugh without trying. He was a family man, an avid car enthusiast and also loved fishing. He enjoyed life, laughter and sports and was a people-person who made friends easily. Before settling down, he spent his summers with his sister and brother-in-law, in Atlanta, Georgia, working as a warehouse crew member at the Fun Company and as a Maintenance Technician at Old National Christian Academy where he was well loved. Rufus was preceded in death by his mother, the late Wilma Howell. He is survived by his siblings, Calvin Howell (Debbie) of Atlanta, GA; Marlene Howell (Kim Turner) of Homestead, PA; Yolanda Collins (Gregory, I) of Atlanta, GA; Ekiti Bryant-W-Howell of Atlanta, GA; Dottie Culpeper (Lloyd) of Los Angeles, CA, his daughter Ataya Dixon, his sons; Austin Robinson, Jawon Brown, Jordan Sylvester and Dominick Englert, his loving companion, Ashley Englert, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
