Today, we gather to honor and remember my father, Frank James—a man whose name truly reflected who he was: a friend to so many, and a blessing to all who knew him.My dad was kind, brave, generous, strong, and deeply loving. Those aren’t just words—they were the way he lived every single day. No matter what he was going through, no matter how much pain he was in, he always put others first. That’s just who he was.He had a heart for helping people. If someone needed him, he showed up—no questions asked. He stood by his longtime friend through cancer treatments and appointments, offering strength and support. And even after being diagnosed himself, he didn’t stop caring for others. That kind of selflessness is rare. That kind of love is who my dad was.To me, he was always there—no matter what. Right or wrong, good days or hard days, his love never changed. It was steady, unwavering, and unconditional. I always knew I could count on him.To his grandsons, he was more than a grandfather—he was a father figure. He loved them deeply and poured everything he had into them. He spent time with them, taught them, laughed with them, and showed them what it means to be a good man. There wasn’t a single thing he wouldn’t do for his family.And he loved to make people laugh. Even in the hardest moments, he found a way to bring light into the room. That’s something people will always remember—his strength, his humor, and the way he made others feel.So many people have said the same thing about him: “He was a good man.” And he truly was. He lived his faith as a Hebrew Israelite not just in belief, but in action—through love, compassion, and service to others.He leaves behind his three young grandsons, his daughter, his sisters Roberta, Iris, Barbara, and Olive, his brother Rick and Blakeman Family , and a large circle of family and friends whose lives he touched in meaningful ways.My dad fought hard—but more than that, he loved harder. And that love is something that will stay with all of us. It lives on in the lessons he taught, the memories we hold, and the way he showed us how to care for one another.We will miss him deeply. But we will carry him with us—in our hearts, in our actions, and in the love we continue to give to others.Rest in peace, Dad. Thank you for everything. We love you always.
